A day without immigrants..

I realize this is a touchy subject for some people but I just don't get it. Why are we trying to criminalize immigrants who are hear doing work that none of us would ever consider doing? Maybe people are still really frightened that the local Hispanic family will steal their tires and gardening tools so they think it's best to just get rid of them.

I work with a lot of Hispanic people at one of my job's and I have to say that they are some of the hardest working people I have worked with. Not to mention the fact that they do it with a smile which is more than I can say for myself sometimes. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out tomorrow when they all walk out of their workplaces..
