Sea Lion hazing..

After installing $1 million of protective ladders and other means to prevent the sea lions from an easy buffet of salmon, the wildlife experts are now turning to aggressive hazing. The practice will continue for several days.

There's just something about this story that amuses me. These Sea Lions are obviously smart. They have learned how to adapt to high pitched frequencies, metal gates and now they will probably thwart state wildlife officials attempts to scare them away with rubber bullets and firecrackers too. Apparently this is a big issue that has been escalating for a couple of years now. I will try to keep you updated as I follow this interesting story.
