Storms and Floods..

The rain over the past several days here in Oregon has been pretty devastating. It's pretty interesting to sit up in my 2nd story apartment and watch the relentless wind and water coming down but its not very cool to see what's been going on around the state. It sounds like most of the severe problems are in some of the coastal towns. The pictures from Tillamook show cars almost completely covered in water. I ran across a car in about a foot and a half of water here in Portland the other night but for the most part it looks like P-town is getting off a lot easier than other parts of the state. I also just heard that the Governor has declared a state of emergency over in Tillamook County. Anyway, here's to hoping the rain lets up soon. This is getting a little out of control.
