BOOK: The Poisonwood Bible - Barbara Kingsolver

I decided to read this for the following reasons:

1. My girlfriend told me it was really good.
2. Everybody and their dog thinks its really good, including Oprah.
3. I recently decided I wanted to try and read the Peoples History of the United States (extremely long) so I thought I'd see how I felt about reading a 700 page book first.
4. It was on Melissa's bookshelf and I needed something to read.
5. I've never read an Oprah's Book Club book.

I'm really glad I read it. Great book, but you already knew that.
